Each year the Athena award winters are recognized at an event in the Spring. The 2025 St. Paul Area Athena Awards Program will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

The 31st Annual St. Paul Area Athena Awards ceremony and event in honor of the outstanding high school senior women athletes from St. Paul and suburban high schools.
It will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Julia Daniels of KARE11, will be the Master of Ceremonies. Andréa Carroll-Franck, Vice President of Community, Founder
Minnesota Aurora FC, will be the Key Note Speaker.

Speaker Bio
Andréa has been working in nonprofits, community organizations, and sports in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. She excels in bringing those two passions together within Aurora, a club that leads and operates boldly and authentically and leads with its values.
In her other lives, Andréa coached soccer for 19 years and most recently coached high school football doing kicking and culture work. She is mom to a cockapoo named Cousteau and a jungle of houseplants. She plays soccer on Sundays, and loves to spend time in nature, wandering around new places, and eating delicious things.
